BBVA COMPASS STADIUM AND THE HOUSTON DYNAMO PARTNER WITH LEVY RESTAURANTS TO BRING WORLD-CLASS FOOD AND HOSPITALITY TO HOUSTON’S NEWEST DOWNTOWN STADIUM

HOUSTON (March 22, 2012) —AEG Facilities-managed BBVA Compass Stadium (www.bbvacompassstadium.com) and the Houston Dynamo are proud to announce today that Levy Restaurants is the official restaurant partner of Houston’s newest downtown stadium, BBVA Compass Stadium, the home of the Houston Dynamo and Texas Southern University football. Levy brings exceptional food and hospitality to the Stadium throughout the building from concessions, to suites and clubs. Chicago-based Levy Restaurants is a James Beard and Ivy Award-winning restaurant company that transformed dining at major sporting and entertainment venues across the country.

Fans will get a chance to experience state-of-the-art facility when the stadium officially opens on May 12, when the Dynamo face-off against D.C. United. The new stadium features 33 suites and a total capacity of 22,000. BBVA Compass Stadium will be a state-of-the-art, open-air stadium designed to host Houston Dynamo matches and Texas Southern University football games as well as additional professional, collegiate and community sporting events, concerts, exhibitions, conventions and special events. The 340,000-square foot venue will be the first soccer-specific stadium in Major League Soccer located in a city’s downtown district. With its downtown location, the new stadium will be a part of a true ‘Stadium District,’ which includes Minute Maid Park and the Toyota Center, as well as the George R. Brown Convention Center, Discovery Green, Warehouse Live and House of Blues.
