Edgar Moctezuma - Director of Engineering and Operations

Edgar Moctezuma is the Engineering Manager at BBVA Compass Stadium. He is responsible for overseeing maintenance of the stadium and its related systems. This includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, automation, seating, painting, carpentry and general maintenance duties.

Prior to joining BBVA Compass Stadium, Moctezuma served as the Director of Facilities at Universal Technical Institute where he was responsible for the maintenance, security, housekeeping and event set up for a 300,000 sq. ft. campus.

Moctezuma first started his career at NRG Park where he served as the Maintenance Mechanical Manager overseeing the Mechanical side of the Engineering department. He holds licenses and certifications in the HVAC and Electrical fields as well as formal training in both fields.
